Hello there!
I hope you are well!
Today, I have a NEW cosplay character for you! A classic Who companion from the 70's and Jon Pertwee's tenure as the Doctor. Jo Grant was the first classic Who companion I went back and watched. In the 90's, they showed repeats of Jon Pertwee's classic episodes such as The Daemons and The Sea Devils so I always knew about Jo Grant before I became a self-confessed Doctor-Who Appreciation Society member and Whovian.
Finally, I don't have any white knee high boots, nor am I likely to, so I recreated the look with pale knee-high socks with some pink piping on them!

This looks a really easy one to do. Red/pinky checked shirt, denim pinafore, red scarf, red buttons, white boots
I started with this white/pinky shirt with a curved collar. Annoyingly, I have the perfect red scarf that I have used for a Who cosplay before but I just can't find it (as mentioned last week!) Instead, I used this red lady tie I have.
To emulate the red buttons on her pinafore, I used this red button brooch I've had for a few years.
The denim pinafore was yet another second hand purchase. It's not quite the right colour of shape but I rather like it!Finally, I don't have any white knee high boots, nor am I likely to, so I recreated the look with pale knee-high socks with some pink piping on them!
And that's my take on Day of the Daleks!
What do you think?
This is one I will redo once I find my red scarf and my red long-sleeved shirt!!
xx
