I hope you are well. Today's TARDIS Tuesday outfit is one I haven't tried before! I've attempted to dress as the actual Doctor him/her/self only a few times and today I thought I'd dress as the Second Doctor who was played by Patrick Troughton who I haven't tried before.
I chose a combination of his outfits to dress as:
The first is an episode which was in colour- The Three Doctors which featured Patrick Troughton alongside his previous and following regenerations.
I'm also making reference to the outfit he wore in one of his own episodes which was in Black and white so we don't see the colours.

Let's begin with my starting point: This blue charity-shopped shirt. I bought this about 4 years ago and I have worn it many, many times. It's quite boring but it is a useful basis for many outfits.
I added my black vintage St Michael's black lady-tie which was also charity shopped around 5 years ago.
The next item is my checked trousers. These were bought from Joanie Clothing back in 2018 in the sale and are a beautifully snuggly soft material so I have worn them many times.

The jacket belongs to CBC and it was hanging up in our bedroom so I pinched it for the photos. Underneath, I am wearing a black cashmere cardigan which is how I kept this outfit warm at school.

His style has been described as a Cosmic Hobo before. Some of his enemies and acquaintances referred to him as "That scruffy little fellow." He, for me is one of the most endearing regenerations of the Doctor.
So, what does this outfit consist of:
Pale blue shirt
Floppy bow tie
High waisted checked trousers in black/grey
Long black/navy frock coat or suit jacket.
And who can forget that Patrick Troughton's Doctor was infamous for playing the recorder!?
Here's my attempt:

The final item was my black Clarks men's boots. I DID buy these recently in the sale. I admired them at full price back in October AND tried them on. I bought them for 70% off in the January sales as they are the closest to my Dr Marten's Joylyn boots that I can find.
And of course, the recorder! I did record a video of me playing the Doctor Who theme on my recorder but it cut out half-way through so that's a particular pleasure/torture you will have to forgo. Actually, I am a very accomplished recorder player (I represented my local music festival in the Leeds Millenium festival playing recorder) so I promise you it wouldn't be that bad!
What do you think? Not bad for a little root around my wardrobe!
