I am fine, very relieved to have done my stint at school this week (I was in Year 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday)- it's been a bit of a struggle trying to get the music lessons done though for all the classes- I uploaded Year 2 and 5 today and put together a video for Year 1 which I have to upload but still got Years 3,4,6 to do despite having already done prep for them (I spent hours on the year 4 lesson but it's still not right and I haven't even recorded a video yet which is going to be really complex, having tried it out with my year 4's in the keyworker bubble on Tuesday.). Anyway, it's fine, I just have to get on with a bit more tonight (don't worry, I stopped working about 6.30 and then went for a walk for an hour and then made dinner, I'm only just coming back now) to ensure I don't have a panic tomorrow.
A couple of lovely moments today. For my year 2 music lesson, the children were learning to play a version of Handel's Rejouissance from Music for the Royal Fireworks (I put words to it) and as I was filming the video, I decided to don my tiara for the video and invited them to get into their best clothing, fit for a King ready for the lesson and I was so happy when one of them uploaded a video of her doing her music dressed up in a pretty dress and tiara! I hope it gave them a bit of a novelty....for those of them who did it!
Also, CBC just made a really scrummy dinner (helped by me cutting potatoes, picking rosemary, and doing all the previous washing up and then subsequent washing up getting reduced fish and tomatoes from the COOP after my walk) which made me very happy. I'm going to focus on that rather than not being able to download my videos for my other music lessons. Praying it was just a blip!
Anyway, I still had some fungi to share from my new year's day walk so I thought I'd share those here
