I missed TARDIS Tuesday this week as I was in Northumberland for Christmas. We ended up spending our Christmas in Northumberland. We were supposed to be in Oxfordshire with CBC's sister and husband but due to their contracting Covid in Dubai, we couldn't go there so 4 of us, CBC, myself, his Mum and his brother, stayed at CBC's mum's house in Hexham. What felt really sad initially, turned out to be a really chilled, hassle-free and good-natured Christmas and I even got to visit my Hexham friends who arrived back home on the 27th. Apart from the rather long, arduous journey (including CBC not feeling well, but luckily, we managed to put his brother on the insurance so he drove instead. We had a few delightful presents from each other, all useful or edible and it was pleasant not to be loaded down.
Instead of TARDIS Tuesday, I thought, instead, that I would do a summary of my favourite TARDIS Tuesday outfits from each month. If you click on the month name, you can see the original post the picture cam from.
I chose this Yaz Khan outfit as my favourite because it was cosy and I managed to actually imitate the hairstyle (I am bad at hairstyles). Also, it was entirely put together from other cosplays and items I had anyway. That cream sweater is a bunny one worn backwards!
My favourite one is this iconic Clara Oswald outfit- it's the one you see most people dressing in Clara as and it has taken me years to get it to this standard of screen accuracy. Also, I was so happy to get to wear it in the snow (it's a Christmas outfit!) Plus, it's really cute and fun!

The reason I chose this Yaz outfit is mainly because it was my 40th birthday post and I was accompanied by some of my best blogger friends in dressing up as Doctor Who characters FOR ME as a birthday present and, as Vix said at the time,
"Look how loved you are (we all knew that anyway) but if you ever start feeling down, look back at this post and smile at how many fabulous women dressed up especially for your big day."
Go and look at that post, it really is a joyful post! I mainly loved everyone else's outfits BUT I like this one of mine best because, although it is not particularly interesting, memorable or bright, it is one that I have never seen any other cosplayer do and it featured my beautiful Alex Monroe necklace that was a 40th birthday present (and joint Christmas present) and it is really comfortable, yet looks smart!
I chose this novelty look for April's choice because I LOVE a sailor look (I even have a label devoted to
nautical clothing and I have been searching FOR YEARS for a suitable jacket and cropped trousers for this. Plus, Romana is a really smily character so it is really easy to imitate her facial expressions compared to a lot of other characters who look moody!
I chose this Clara look for May because it is another outfit I've had quite a few attempts at and it's a very Kezzie outfit- I love a 90's floral dress plus comfy accompanying garments!
I didn't have a huge amount of choice for June as I only posted 2 outfits but I chose this Peri look from 80's Who as I find it really comfortable yet cute- longer shorts are hard to find and the vest I am wearing underneath is one of my favourite summer tops. Plus, there's also the secret hidden cosplay element of wearing my 5th doctor ??? shirt embroidered by Ang!
This is my most screen accurate Clara item and the post I did of this is one of my most liked on Instagram this year. I like the smily pics. If I dared wear these shorts for school, I would. I usually substitute the shorts for a slightly longer black shirt for school.
Like June, I only had 2 outfits to choose from and wearing an entirely hot pink outfit was not a favourite so I chose this Yaz one mainly as it is quite a different look for me and I had fun taking photos for it!
I chose this Clara September outfit because I felt really pretty in it. I wish I'd had the opportunity to wear this out but I was SOOOO busy in September that I had no opportunity and just wore it for photos. One day though!
I chose this Clara outfit for October because I love the 20's look and it's actually incredibly comfortable to wear. Plus, again, I felt pretty!
I chose this beautiful Vicky Pallister outfit as it will forever remind me of the first time I met Ang Almond who sewed the braiding on for me. It's also comfortable (and was much admired by others) and practical yet instantly recognisable. It's an outfit I've never seen anyone else cosplay either.
I chose this Yaz look for December because it was entirely concocted last minute and I love a historical look. Insta loved this look too and I love that my mum took these pictures and did my hair for me.
Out of my choices, which one do you like best?
I can't choose!
