Here's a card I made for my Godmother's 80th birthday last month.
She was my piano and theory teacher from the age of 7 to 18 and her input is a huge part of who I am as a musician
I had the idea of making a piano keyboard but using these pretty patterned papers I had plus some black card and 3d pads.
It was easy to make, it just took some measuring plus the use of a corner punch and some swirly outline stickers.
I thought that 8 diatonic keys in an octave could represent her 8 decades
I went round to see her tonight and she told me many of her visitors had admired it.
It was so good to see her. She's one of my most favourite people in the world! We had a good giggle!
Hope all is well with you.
