Look, look, look what I found when with my mum in a charity shop on Saturday!!!!
I spotted it instantly and made a bee-line for it. Monsoon but size 12- eeek, I am most definitely Monsoon size 8. But it doesn't matter as it is a coat that seems to work a bit bigger and didn't seem a 12! £6.50 and I was definitely happy. It has a sailor feel to it with the red piping and the perfect little coat for wearing with a short dress!
I was wearing this outfit and everything went perfectly with it. I also found a few other items but need to photograph them. This cute cake wall is in my local Waitrose cafe. We were having our free coffee and hot chocolate, respectively and I asked CBC to take my photo by the wall. Shame at that point, the waitress came and started putting the chairs up. Sort of spoilt the feel! Never mind, the wall is still cute!
Today was Parent consultation day and since I don't have to do that, but have to be at school, I ran a Gifted, able and talented music day and invited students to come in, even though it was the day off. 24 of them came and we spent 4 hours creating our own version of Ravel's Bolero, which Torvill and Dean first won the gold for the winter Olympics, 30 years ago. They are recreating it in Sarajevo soon. We also created our own Mambo, based on West Side Story. I hope, hope, hope they had an enjoyable day as it was so nice to have children from years 3-6 together- too hard to try and get time out of class to do this usually.
After that, I made teas and coffees for all the staff, took them around and then prepared some work for the next day. Then, I sneakily arranged for a special Valentines, random act of kindness (inspired by you Nora bird!) which I will share tomorrow when I upload the photos! Hope nobody guesses it was me!
Home on the train, happy Malaysian chicken Glorious soup purchase in the COOP and reduced Pak choi- oh I am so happy that I had Pak choi- despite having a very embarassing heimlich-manouvere-requiring choking incident with it in Harvey Nicholls Wagamama, I adore it!!!! Give me a massive plate of it and I am happy!
Tomorrow, we have more Caribbean Steel-panning at school and it's the last day!!!! Hurrah!!!x
