Boo hiss to rubbish light during the winter months!!! You can't see a bloomin thing in the light of myself despite putting all the lamps one! You'll notice that hats are creeping into all the posts recently. It's so cold and I really do feel something missing when I don't have one on. When I wear berets and beanies, I always forget to take them off inside as they feel so natural. Today, I wore a beret most of the day in school and didn't notice! The kids are used to it now- they don't even comment that I am still wearing a hat. Here is a cream one I bought in H&M- it has little pearls all over it.
Today's outfit was in honour of Sophie, lover of tanks. I really thought I'd given this tank to charity as I hadn't seen it for so long but it transpires it was lurking amongst the cardigans in my secondary cardigan box. I chose to wear it with the lovely scarf that Sophie gave me for Christmas- a lovely warm, wool Tartan scarf- it was one of my favourite Christmas presents. She also gave me some other lovely items which I must wear on here soon...
You'll see my rainbow crocheted blanket on the sofa- a Christmas present as a child which I requested from my family friend (she who helped me make the Dalek dress). I love having it on the sofa as our rented house has those comfy but boring brown leather sofas. Much prettier but CBC thinks it's silly as it apparently a) it renders the sofa less comfortable, b) looks Grannyfied (I don't know why anything associated with Granny is supposed to not cool- I loved my Grandma!!!), c) always slips down d) is not warm when you want to wrap it around you. Bah humbug I say! All that painstaking work! I am going to use and appreciate that blanket!
