I love the fact that through blogging you get to appreciate the work of clever, talented people. I love everyone for their unique style of blogging, their individuality, enthusiasm, the beauty and goodness they provide and above all the kind hearts of all those who visit here. Thank you to you all. A big welcome to any new visitors and thank you to the kind people who I have just notice have all joined my blog and followed as well! New followers are a rare and beautiful thing for me, you are all appreciated. Can I just say though, Lizzie (Elizabeth Rebecca) I really want to comment on your blog but because of your Google+ settings, it won't let me comment without setting up a google profile and giving them all sorts of information I don't want to- have been avoiding Google+ for a while. I am reading but I'm sorry I can't comment!
Anyway, that neatly segues me into a lovely bloggy surprise I got recently.
The lovely Fat Dormouse, AKA Alison, does the most beautiful Zentangles and one day, she was asking if anyone had any ideas for one, so I suggested doing a musical one and to my delight, she had drawn one and sent it to me! It's absolutely splendid and I really wanted to get it framed (I haven't made it to a shop remembering to do it yet) and put it up, but isn't it beautiful! I wanted to say another big thank you to Alison for sending me this splendid and unique art-work and I will treasure it!!! If you haven't visited, please do go and say hi- she has two cool blogs!!
I do hope you are well and happy. The children were back today at school- I wasn't actually teaching but doing admin etc but it was really nice to see them back. I went round giving out letters for my WW1 choir- I'd love lots of children to join up but suddenly had a vision of what might happen if about 120 children all joined up (I've opened it to all KS2 classes) and thinking that that was maybe a bit too many to cope with. I'm used to 30ish. Oh well, I'll see what happens.
Hope all is lovely with you. I've got a few more scenic places from Croatia coming up, a silly outfit and some other 'deeply exciting offerings'* so stay tuned folks!!!
Hugs to you all.
