These photos were taken on the night before CBC went to South America. We were driving to our favourite Thai restaurant for a meal together before he went (he wanted to say thank you for all my prep for him) and I saw how beautiful the fields looked and half-jokingly said, "Well, wouldn't that be a nice backdrop for blog outfit shots."
I expected the usual withering comment about how life isn't a blog post but instead, he pulled up immediately and stopped!

It's kind of hard to see my outfit too well but this pretty top is covered in stripes and sunflowers with a cotton-lace top part.
Everywhere else in the country seemed to have gloomy weather on Saturday but I must have missed it somehow!
We saw some beautiful fields of sunflowers in France which I wish I'd been able to take some photos in with this outfit. Last time I was in France and asked to stop to take a picture of sunflower fields, I had a bit of a painful accident getting out of the car.
Thankfully, when I asked the same driver (CBC's sister's husband) to stop so I could take some photos, I got out the car carefully!
I may as well share the Sunflower photos here since they are relevant!!
